To Welcome Spring

Now when the primrose makes a splendid show,
And lilies face the March-winds in full blow,
And humbler growths as moved with one desire
Put on, to welcome spring, their best attire...

There and Back Again

Before I begin a new journey, I take note of where I was and where I am now and where I want to go from here.  Though sojourns and adventures are wonderful things, my most favorite part is returning home.

I have missed writing and I have missed my gentle readers of not so long ago.  In this new season, I hope to embrace creativity and especially writing ~ thoughts waiting to become words like flowers waiting to bloom on an early spring morning.

The return of cold March weather has given our daffodil bulbs second thoughts of waking before Easter.  I think they would much rather snuggle under a blanket of dirt until the warmth of the sun returns.

And that is my cue to bid you good night.  Snuggling under a blanket is just what is needed.  Good night.
